Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, there is a deposit of £250.00 or £500.00 ( depending on vehicle type )

This is payable by debit or credit card

Do you accept cash?

Unfortunately we don’t accept cash for insurance purposes

Do your vehicles include insurance?

All our private vehicle rentals include fully comprehensive Insurance and CDW with a excess between £1000.00 / £1400.00 depending on vehicle type. Excess can be decreased with excess protection.

What is Excess Protection?

Excess Protection protects the amount of excess you have to pay. EP is charged at a daily rate and reduces the amount of Insurance excess  liability you have to pay should you be involved in a accident or should the vehicle be damaged while in your care. If taken it will reduce the excess to the amount of deposit you pay £250/£500

What if I breakdown?

All vehicles are covered for 24/7 breakdown assistance. If you have a problem please call the rental office you collected the vehicle from and they will help.

What time do i need to return the vehicle?

All rentals are 24hrs, so if you collect at 9am it is due back at 9am on the return day.

What if I return the vehicle late?

 

We give a 60 mins grace period, after this time the vehicle will charged for a additional day. Unfortunately due to Insurance we can not do late returns without charge.

What if I have a accident?

If you are involved in a collision notify your rental office as soon as possible. We may need you to return the vehicle immediately for inspection to make sure it is still safe to drive. Do not let anyone else move or take away the vehicle without first reporting to our office.

How much fuel is in the vehicle on collection?

We run a like for like policy. However much fuel is in the vehicle on collection return it the same within reason. This will be no less than a quarter of a tank on collection. We don’t run a full to full policy as we believe the cost of fuel then charged back to the customer is extortionate. If you return the vehicle empty we will allow you to reimburse ourselves for the fuel or nip back and top it up, whichever you find easier
