Pay Now Terms

Priority Bookings
As a pay now customer you will receive priority bookings – this means in the busiest times of business your booking will be taken first.

Booking
The personal & hire details of your prepaid booking are as set out in the email confirmation sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.

Modifications
If you require changes to your booking, please call the branch the vehicle was booked with.

Cancellation and Cancellation Charges
You may cancel your booking at any time for any reason no later than 72 hours before your specified collecting date & time for a full refund.


If you cancel your booking less than 72 hours before your specified pick up time, we will refund the total amount of the booking minus the lesser of £50 cancellation fee. Refunds will only be made to the credit/debit care used at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time upon notice but only for good cause, such as; a breach of a rental contract by you including a failure to pay any balance due for rentals; harassment or other abusive behaviour towards employees or customers of NL Commercials; or your fraudulent activity; other events or conditions beyond the control of NL Commercials which results in a shortage of vehicles at the rental branch specified in the booking. In the event of such cancellation, we will refund the total amount of the booking.

No-shows & Late Arrivals
A vehicle will be held for 2 hours after the specified pick up time of your booking, after this time the booking will be cancelled & the full amount of the hire is no longer refundable. We cannot guarantee that a vehicle will be available on your arrival should you arrive more than 2 hours after the specified booking time.

If you arrive at the rental branch 1 day or more before the date shown on the booking, we may not have a selected vehicle available. The rental branch will honour your booking subject to the availability of the selected vehicle & will incur the additional day/s hire charges.

Early & Unused Rental Days.
Any unused rental days or extras on prepaid bookings are non-refundable.

Rental Contract
The booking contract is a contract to ensure that the selected vehicle is available to you for rental at the time and location specified in your booking subject to these Terms and Conditions. It is not a contract for vehicle rental services. The rental contract between NL Commercials and you for the use of the vehicle during the rental period will be exclusively entered at the time you pick up the vehicle at the relevant branch.

Minimum Age Requirements
To complete the booking process, you must provide your age to verify compliance with any minimum age requirements as specified in our age requirements policy.

Licence and Document Requirements
All primary & additional drivers must have a valid UK drivers licence category B. Prior to the rental start date and present it at the rental desk at the start of the rental period. A valid debit/credit card must be presented at time of rental, accepted payment methods; VISA, VISA Debit & Mastercard.

Contracting Parties
These Terms and Conditions form the contract for the prepaid booking of a vehicle with NL Commercials. The contracting parties to the booking contract are NL Commercials ('us' or 'we') and 'you' the customer that has made the prepaid booking. NL Commercials is a limited liability company established under the laws of England with a registered office at Rouse Mill Lane, Batley, WF17 5QB. Cross Border Policy
We do not allow any vehicles to travel outside of the UK or Northern Ireland.

Waiver
If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions or if we do not enforce our rights against you or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you we shall only do so in writing.

Acknowledgement & Confirmation
It is your responsibility to keep a booking confirmation receipt & present it at the time of collection.

Limitation of Liability
We, NL Commercials, and our respective officers, directors, employees and agents of each such entity are not liable for any delay in providing or failure to provide a vehicle if the delay or failure resulted from an event of Force Majeure and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from the booking and prepayment, our breach of these Terms and Conditions, or our negligence unless such damages were foreseeable as an obvious consequence of our breach or were contemplated by you and us at the time we entered into the booking contract. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for breach of any implied warranties that cannot be excluded by law.

Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between us and you in respect of the prepaid booking of a vehicle. You acknowledge that by entering into this booking contract you are not relying on and that you will have no remedies in respect of any statement, representation, assurance, or warranty that is not set out in these Terms and Conditions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
​​​​​​​These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and/or any booking contract. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland or Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
